The news created a buzz when Hesh De Silva posted on his twitter account that his company will now be venturing in the arts industry.
De Silva is the founder of the approximately US$10 million worth De Silva Group. The Group is the holding company for VenCap, a firm that makes seed investments in Kenyan entrepreneurs with innovative ideas for business. MIS adds to the more than 19 businesses the firm has already invested in.
