Rufftone Igi Igi the owner of Lampstand records, a mentor , and award winning gospel artiste made Kenya stand together in unity during Jamhuri celebrations. The great moment was when Rufftone was requested to perform Mungu Baba song twice due to public demand.
Rufftone sang “Mungu Baba” song earlier in 2013 just before Kenya went to the elections period. This was a song that brought a different perspective of music as he did a song with the GSU ( a police unit ).
There he was performing with a number of GSU unit and dressed in white attire during the Jamhuri Celebrations. He didn’t know this but he was asked to perform again infront of the President Uhuru and other international presidents who were invited for the celebrations.
