President Kenyatta believes that GOD has not abandoned our country Kenya rather it’s maybe us Kenyans who have abandoned HIM. The president said this in the annual inter-denominal prayer meeting dubbed National Prayer Breakfast at the Safari Park Hotel.
Uhuru stated in his short but powerful speech :
“God has been, God is, and God will always be there for this country.God has never abandoned Kenya, but maybe we have abandoned God, we need to ask ourselves that if we commit ourselves to go and practice what has been preached, we will have a great country. Lets see more of leaders working together and not shouting at each other, less of hate speech.”
The function took place today 29th May 2014 also had the Deputy President , government officals and religious leaders present.
