A Minnesota couple was sent a bill for $75.90 USD after cancelling plans to attend a wedding last minute.

Jessica Baker and her husband had missed the wedding because their babysitter had cancelled on them, they explain in the video above.

“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Baker said in an interview with KARE 11. “It listed, we would have had two herb crusted walleye and there was also a service and tax charge.”

“This cost reflects the amount paid by the bride and groom for meals that were RSVP’d for, reimbursement and explanation for no show, card, call or text would be appreciated,” the site writes.

Although the Bakers were outraged after receiving the bill, Facebook users have been battling it out over who was in the wrong.

Some say Baker should have attended alone, while others agree the Bakers should have compensated the couple for their loss

A Florist Ordered To Serve Gay Weddings, REFUSES And Says She Won’t Betray JESUS

A Christian florist and grandmother who declined to provide flowers for a samesex wedding because of her Christian
belief in traditional marriage has been fined $1,001 by a Washington court and will be held liable to pay the legal fees incurred by the gay couple, which could “devastate” her financially.

As previously reported by The Christian Post, 70yearold Barronelle Stutzman, the owner of Arlene’s Flowers in
Richland, Washington, was found guilty of violating the state’s nondiscrimination law in February, after referring Rob Ingersoll and Curt Feed to another florist when they asked her to provide the floral arrangements for their wedding.

Although Stutzman sold flowers to Ingersoll for nearly a decade and maintained a positive relationship with him, when he asked her to provide flowers for his samesex wedding, she felt she could not act against her Christian conviction to serve her friend.

Afterwards, Ingersoll took to social media to voice his displeasure with Stutzman, which drew the attention of Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson, who eventually filed charges against Stutzman, after she
refused to comply with his demands that her shop serve gay weddings.

While Benton County Superior Court Judge Alex Ekstrom’s Friday summary judgement orders Stutzman to pay a fine of $1,001, for now, and forces her to provide services for samesex weddings, her lawyer, Alliance Defending Freedom senior counsel Kristen Waggoner, said that
Stutzman is still at risk of losing her retirement savings and business as she will be responsible for paying the legal fees and damages incurred by Ingersoll and Freed, who were represented by the ACLU.

The court will hold off on making a decision on how much Stutzman will have to pay in legal costs and fees until after a ruling has been made on

Couples Who Get Married Before Having A Baby, Stay Together : Study Shows

The study, conducted by Marriage Foundation, showed that 76 per cent of mothers who were married before giving birth stayed with the child’s father, compared to 44 per cent of those who married later, and 31 per cent of those who never married.

The report also suggests that a mother’s level of education does not play as large a factor as previously thought.

Marriage Foundation used data from the Understanding Society study, a regular survey of 40,000 British households, and analysed a sample of about 1,800 mothers with at least one child aged 14 or 15.

Among couples who are still together who have teenage children, 81 per cent were married before their child was born, and 12 per cent got married later.

Whereas, of the mothers who were living with their partner at the time of their first child’s birth but never got married, only 31 per cent had remained with their partner by the time the child was sitting their GCSEs.

The analysis also showed that the mothers who were married before having their child were on average four years older and more likely to have a degree, but this did not materially affect the stability of their relationship.

The couple succeeded in breaking a Double Guinness World Record, beating ‘Most ushers to one groom’, previously at 47, and ‘Most bridesmaids to one bride’, previously 126. It was first time these records have been attempted together at the same wedding and the first time they had been attempted in the UK.
Both records have been lodged and approved by The Guinness Book of World Records.

Amy, a 26-year-old bride, and 32 year old Alex, the groom who won the £110,000 wedding in a competition have set a new world record by having 130 Bridesmaids And 100 Ushers at their wedding.
They met at a charity event in summer 2014 and started a relationship with plans to tie the knot at the end of 2015.

Amy called for the attendance of girlfriends across the globe while her TV presenter husband’s groomsmen included rugby players who are also his friends.
All the items used at the wedding was donated by local companies – including 130 identical bridesmaid dresses worth £35,000 and suits worth £13,000.

The couple from Leeds, West Yorks, already have four children between them from previous relationships and are expecting the first child of their own.

They saw a competition on Facebook run by bridal shop owner Abbi Lewis, who was looking to pull off a record-breaking wedding and wanted a couple to take part.

The duo initially planned a small wedding, but determined Abbi managed to blag everything for free and pulled together the massive event in just five months.

The groom said,

“I wouldn’t say I had to convince Amy but I hadn’t known her long. When we entered the competition we weren’t even engaged.
“We knew we had to take the opportunity.
“There is no way with kids we would have been able to afford this ourselves.
“This had made our dreams come true.
“The fact we can have everyone there is amazing.

Before their record, the most ushers at a wedding was 47, a record set by Arulanantham Suresh Joachim in September 2003 in Canada.
The most bridesmaids was set in November 2013 in Sri Lanka by Champika Shirani Siriwardana, with 126.

7 Signs You Are Ready To Propose

Marriage is one of the biggest steps you’ll ever take in your life. So just how do you know when you’re ready to plop down on one knee and ask your girlfriend the magical “Will you marry me” question? Well, it’s hard to put a time stamp on everything, least of all relationships.

The following 5 signs should alert you to the fact that you’re ready to make an honest woman out of the lady in your life:

1. You have similar values

Marriage isn’t going to succeed on love alone, so if the two of you complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses and both of you are actually headed in the same direction on issues such as work, money, raising children, religion and values, you’re in line to get hitched.

2. You’ve made plans for the future with her

If you’ve initiated or willingly participated in discussions with your girlfriend about things like which house to buy, which investment is better, having children and retirement plans, you’re ready to propose.

3. You’ve discovered your desire to be a father

You’re ready for marriage when you actually embrace the idea of being a father, begin suggesting to your girlfriend how great of a dad you will be, and begin thinking of your children’s names.

4. You’ve completely grown out of your bachelor ways

The idea of meeting new women and participating in the singles’ scene no longer appeals to a man who is ready to marry. Ask yourself the following question: Are you ready to burn your little black book and forsake contact with exes and anyone else who may threaten your relationship? If you answered yes you are squarely on the path to proposing.

5. You simply can’t wait to get home to her

Whenever you go out of town on business, you frequently wish she could be there with you. Conversely, when she’s away, you can’t wait for her to get back. You feel comfortable talking with her about any and everything. You not only call her daily, but you can’t wait to see her and tell her the details of your day and have a strong desire to hear about hers. Don’t fight it any longer, you’re ready.

6. You’re Open About Your Finances

Make no mistake about it: Despite your undying love and devotion, money matters. Even if you and your girlfriend aren’t swimming through pools of gold Scrooge McDuck-style, you should at least be familiar with your financial situations (and okay with the fact that your big splurges are video games and sneakers). If one or both of you are deeply in debt, money (or your lack thereof) could be an immediate source of conflict in your marriage. You don’t need to know each other’s salaries to the dime, but if you’re open about your savings, you’ll avoid any “You owe a bookie how much?” moments.

7. She’s Aware of Your Ambitions

Everyone has ambitions (your goal to eat your weight in Buffalo wings? Sure, that counts too), but make sure your aspirations don’t conflict with those of your girlfriend. If you plan to spend all your savings to start your own business in five years or, better yet, plan on spending a few months roaming with nomads in the Sahara, your girlfriend should know about that before you ask her to marry you
