Award winning singer Ruth Matete has released a new song called Yamenogea which comes after she did Mapenzi as her debut gospel video.  The song which has been done by her record label Spot light media captures the mood of love and brings the listener to the point of its all about Christ.

Ruth Matete in her new single Yamenogea exemplifies how Christ has been there for her and guided her whenever she has found challenges in life.  She also shows how faithful Christ is and how his love is never-failing.

Former Tusker project fame winner Ruth Matete had a memorable moment of joy on Sunday 17th August after she was awarded as the most promising artiste at the just ended Mwafaka Awards 2014.

Ruth Matete had just made her debut entry months ago into the gospel scene by releasing her 1st video called Nakupenda “I Love You” and now on the other end she was receiving an award for the journey she will tread on in the gospel music ministry.

Ruth Matete  who has been signed by Spot light media run by Eric Omba shared a thank you message to GOD and her fans who support her music and ministry.

“I wanna take this time to sincerely thank the Almighty God and all of you that voted for me in the Mwafaka Awards 2014. I won the Most promising artiste of the year because of you. Thank you my fans and thank you Mwafaka.”

Ruth Matete has been through a lot as a public figure and it’s really great to see how GOD is using her to spread the gospel in Kenya and across East Africa.

Earlier this month we shared a story of Ruth Matete going into music as a gospel artiste and for sure those who couldn’t believe it would believe this now. The elegant Lady who won TPF will now be singing gospel music and has opened a new page to match that.

The new page is  called “Ruth Matete Gospel Singer” moving from others called Ruth Matete TPF among many parodies. Adding to this she will be releasing her new single this week done by Spotlight media which is run by Gloria Muliro’s husband, Eric Omba.

Matete is under a 2 years contract with  Spotlight Media in which the company will be producing and taking care of all her music activities .She now joins Gloria Muliro, Shinnel Wanja , Danny Gift among other artist who are currently being managed by the company
