Marriage is a Blessing staying together for 15 years is a great Blessing. Renown gospel artiste Rosy Ohon known for her songs Eshe Baba, Watoto, Amekumulika, Nibariki among others is celebrating her 15th Wedding Anniversary with her hubby Donald Ohon famously known as ‘Musa Faulu’.

The family of Ohon’s is quite popular in the public eye as after the husband (who featured in Faulu Bank Advert) theirs young Joy who is a tv actress on Machachari show on Citizen Tv. Further more the other daughter has followed her dad’s footsteps as she plays a role in the Oreo advert.

This is truly a journey worth celebrating and the couple has shown that marriage works and works in deed if you put GOD first among other things.
Rosy Ohon recently released a song to protect young girls against rape that was taken as a theme song.
Gospel recording artist Rosy Ohon known for her songs Nibariki, Watoto, Eshe Baba and lately Amekumulika is on a mission to protect girls and children. Rosy Ohon who is a mother and mentor has released a song called SAY NO that advocates against defilement of girls and children who fall victim to cases of rape in the country.

The girls were supported by a charitable initiative known as the 160 Girls Project.
The Court found that “Police unlawfully, inexcusably and unjustifiably neglected, omitted and/or otherwise failed to conduct prompt, effective, proper and professional investigations to the said complaints. That failure caused grave harm to the petitioners and also created a climate of impunity for defilement as perpetrators were let free.”
Rosy Ohon joined the movement and through her music back ground released the Anthem of ‘160 girls’ that electrified the school children in Meru, and promises to continue to do so.

Their wedding anniversary comes just 7 months after they were blessed with another baby girl who is now the 4th born in the family of Ohon’s.

Lady Bee and Size 8 who are still young in the gospel ministry have released two songs each and the best thing is to show them love and support. Having listened to their content Rosy Ohon has come out to support the two artists by saying :
“Lady bee’s and size 8 songs are a blessing, this girls are singing true gospel, may God continue lifting them from glory to glory, may they never fail to see the goodness of the Lord!”.

Lovely singers Alice Kamande and Rosy Ohon are the mentor’s among other artiste’s in the gospel ministry. On Sunday 15th December Rosy Ohon recently released Eshe Baba and Alice Kamande (Sambaza) were awarded with the pace setter award in the concluded Xtreem Teeniez Awards.
As gospel minister’s and artiste’s is important for have a mentor or better still someone to show you the way. That is what Xtreem Awards came up with as they so the importance of having a pace setter in the awards.
Alice Kamande quite graceful is known for her songs “Wewe Pekee” while Rosy Ohon is known for her song “Nibariki”.

Its those moment’s when I recall the word exams and anxiety would flow through me giving me butterflies in my small tummy. The reason why I would fill anxious is not because I had not read but because it was the final exams and it was mean’t to catapult me to the next phase in life. That same moment is here again as thousands of candidate’s sit for their KCPE 2013 Exams starting on Tuesday 12th November. One of the lucky candidate’s is Rosy Ohon’s daughter Hope.
