Pitson of ‘Lingala ya Yesu’ Is Now A Proud Father

Peterson Ngetha, known as Pitson is now a proud father. Pitson who made a huge mark in his music career with the hit song Lingala ya Yesu was blessed with a baby boy on 28th December 2015.

While everyone was enjoying their festivities, Pitson received the best news since his marriage of his wife’s successful delivery of a new bouncing baby boy weighing 3.2Kg via his social media accounts with a post that read:

“Our little bundle of joy has arrived, my wife @karol.mwai and I @therealpitson are ecstatic to welcome little @havilahgeither into the world.”

The singer and his wife, Carol Mwai named the new born baby Havilah Geither meaning, ‘a place of God’ ( Genesis 2:10-11). He immeaditely opened Instagram and Twitter accounts for him and posted a heart warming message that marked the baby’s first ever post on social media. The post read in part;

“Hello World. I joined you here at 2:54am on this 28th day of December… I’m a healthy baby! I weigh 3.2kgs… My sweet Mummy @karol.mwai and my loving Daddy @therealpitson have named me Havilah Geither… Havilah… Meaning, “a place of gold”! (Genesis 2:10-11) Please pray over my new life as you welcome me. Thank you

After Releasing Niache Niimbe, Pitson Bags A Prestigious Award In USA

Gospel singer Pitson is grateful to the most high for enabling him to be recognised as a talented christian artiste at the just concluded Talanta Awards. Pitson was named the male artiste of the year at the awards gala that was hosted in Atlanta USA just a week after he released his new video called Niache Niimbe.

Here Is Pitson’s New Video “Niache Niimbe” That Has Set A New Mark In Gospel Music [WATCH]

Rarely would you find a gospel artiste in Kenya recording a song LIVE. When I talk of Live is not going to the studio and just recording but this a song that has instrumentalists playing during the recording.

Pitson has done it in his new song Niache Niimbe which without a doubt will be a song that will capture the hearts of the young and old as the message cuts across the borders. Costing a huge amount of money because of production and taking nearly 6 months to finish the recording and mastering, this is a song that will be playing for a number of days to months on radio.

The song has been Engineered by renown Bruce Odhiambo  and has been produced by the talented Mike McClaffin.

“Why I Quit My BANK Job To Pursue Music” : Pitson of Lingala Ya Yesu Reveals

Award winning christian artiste Pitson who is known for his song Lingala ya Yesu is back with a message of hope that will uplift many youths and kids in Kenya.

In a recent interview Pitson revealed that he quit his white-collar bank job so that he can pursue music. Rarely would many let go of a bank job especially if its well-paying but Pitson decided to make the tough decision in pursuit of purpose.

Pitson had been working at Stanchart bank in the sales and marketing department for three years but decided to down his tools to work on his music career. Pitson has been doing well in the music industry and is even getting involved in advertising where he is making a lot more than at his bank job.

“It got really hard to concentrate between my work at the bank and music. My productivity was on a downward spiral. Sometimes I was forced to lie about my whereabouts, as I left the office to attend to media interviews, studio sessions or even video shoots. When asked, I would say I was with a client. It was not a good thing to do but I have since asked God to forgive me for that,” he said during an interview. Even after quitting his job, it took him three months to tell his parents.

“I believe it’s time people started appreciating music, and other forms of art as reputable careers. I don’t miss my previous job but I miss the people.”

Pitson is set to release his new song Wacha Niimbe with a message of encouraging parents to allow their kids to pursue their passion  through their GOD given talents.
