The Lingala ya Yesu famed gospel musician Pitson bagged his first ever international award after winning the Sauti Awards Male Artist of the year that was held in Altanta,USA.

The awards which is the 1st ever is aimed at being held annually, and hopes to brings together thousands of creative professionals in the recording industry celebrating music and also to give a platform to upcoming artists.

The awards which went down in early August at Chirst Harvesters’ International Minstry featured several big names in the gospel industry such as Bahati,Eunice Njeri, Benachi and Janet Otieno among others.

Pitson who had just released his new video Niache Niimbe,celebrated his award by thanking all who voted for him and attributed his success in music to God.

Rarely would you find a gospel artiste in Kenya recording a song LIVE. When I talk of Live is not going to the studio and just recording but this a song that has instrumentalists playing during the recording.

Pitson has done it in his new song Niache Niimbe which without a doubt will be a song that will capture the hearts of the young and old as the message cuts across the borders. Costing a huge amount of money because of production and taking nearly 6 months to finish the recording and mastering, this is a song that will be playing for a number of days to months on radio.

The song has been Engineered by renown Bruce Odhiambo and has been produced by the talented Mike McClaffin.
