Mwafaka Awards took place on Sunday 1st September at the Kenya International Conference Centre (KICC)  in one of the biggest event ever hosted by the Mwafaka Awards crew.

The event also saw the attendance of renown personalities among others Senator of Nairobi Mike Mbuvi “Sonko” , Lillian Muli Kanene of Citizen TV  and Juliani. There were also so many Gospel Artist , Radio and TV presenters , Dancers  and Gospel Dj,s. If you did not attend do not worry we got the insights of how it went down. Check photos below:

2 First Family Members ,Top Government Officials,Top Gospel Artists And DJ’s Set To Attend Mwafaka Awards.

This year’s Mwafaka Awards will be bigger and better as it will see the attendance of two first family members , top Government officials , top Kenyan Gospel Artist and renown Kenyan Gospel Dj’s.

Mwafaka Awards an event that usually takes place once in an year is set to happen this Sunday  1st of September at the Kenya International Conference Center (KICC) starting from 1 pm. This much awaited event will be exciting and worth attending as it will have none other than Lillian Muli the News Anchor of  Citizen TV as the host of the day.

There will be lots of performances from top Kenyan Gospel Artist among others Willy Paul,Gloria Muliro & Bahati and live mixes from award- winning dj Krowbar . Here is the full list of personalities set to grace the event:

Will J Blessing Scoop Mwafaka Video Producer Of The Year Or Will Eagles Films Beat Him Again??

This story is just a review of the skill and not in anyway personally related to any other producer.

We have heard it now and everyone is talking  about J Blessing as one of the best video producer’s in Kenya as he has thrived in his skill as a video director. Not only has he done a lot of  HD videos in gospel but he is also directing the biggest tv show in Kenya Churchill Show hosted by Mwalimu Churchill ( Daniel Ndambuki).

On the other hand Kennedy Heman of Eagle Films always makes a bigger impact in most artistes life’s. This is not that other producers don’t do the same but it seems  the amount of videos Kennedy Heman of Eagle Films produces is much more than any video director in Kenyan gospel ministry.

Eagle Films has been voted as the best video production company in Kenya by making a double scoop of Groove Awards Video Director Of The Year in 2012 and 2013.

This is for sure a category to watch out for as we wait to see if J Blessing will scoop it this time round or Eagle Films will take it or another producer will be the surprise of the day.

You Never know, We love all other producers Young Wallace, Cream Vision, Tiger, Prince Cam Media , Dream Land Films and as always we are all winners.

Mwafaka Awards 2013 Nomination Night To Be Held This Tuesday

Mwafaka Awards a Kenyan Gospel Awards Ceremony which is set up toto award  Christian individuals that have excelled in their various talents & careers is back.

The Nominations Night is slated for Tuesday the 30th July at KICC. The rules for nomination are :

•Mwafaka awards are based on song video played on local television and radio stations in the country

•The awards are based on fans interactions on music including albums sales downloads and radio and TV airplay

•These measures were tracked all year long by a panel of judges and data collections partners

•The awards are based on tracking period of June 2012 to June 2013

The Nomination Gala Is An Invite Only Award Ceremony.

We know when you hear Mwafaka Awards thats when an uprising talent feels like this might be my chance to get an award.

Well news from our source is that Mwafaka Awards is set to make a comeback pretty soon after a great show last year. Mwafaka Awards is an event set up to promote and award existing and uprising gospel talents.

Mwafaka Awards will be hosted after Groove Awards and our gospel musicians will get a chance to scoop an appreciation award for spreading the Gospel of Jesus.
