“Vijana Kwa Pulpit” VKP and Mr Seed “Star Boy” have released a new music video done in a school setting called “Yule”
After Wangu and Celebrate Mr Seed has released his new music video with VKP who did Mapenzi Yao. This new single called Yule is a praise song for encouraging those who are hopeless to put their trust and hope in GOD.
Most of us knew Mr.Seed from the tune ‘Papa GOD ooh’ which he did in collaboration with Men of God (MoG). You can easily confuse him with a Nigerian due to the accent which he usually sings with, but he is a Kenyan, born from humble backgrounds.
Mr Seed Muzik (Starboy) has done a new song/video by the name Celebrate which comes after he did Wangu with his brother Bahati. Aimed towards celebrating what the Lord has done in our life’s and for what we have currently, is the message of the song.
It’s really important to give thanks for what we have and i think this praise song has hit that point across.
Check here what you expect from the New Video by Mr.Seed and be blessed family.
Mr Seed Muzik (Star Boy) as many know him, its quite easy to confuse him with a Nigerian. He and his lovely brother Bahati did an amazing song by the name Wangu which is currently getting massive play requests on TV and Radio.
We had a one on one conversation with them and they gave us detailed explanation as to why they chose to Sing Wangu.
Wangu is a swahili word meaning ”Mine” but this time they refer to GOD (In the line – Wewe Ndio Wangu) this means “Lord You Are Mine”.
They decided to make it unique by mixing Lingala Nigerian and Bongo feel in the song. Such that it will match the chorus in Bahati’s Swahili part and Mr Seed’s English Nigerian Part.
The Real Message behind Wangu is actually from the Bible in the story of the Prodigal Son. It was a Parable that Jesus Gave in the Gospel of Luke (Luke 15:11-32), where :
“A father, in response to his demands, gives the younger of his two sons his inheritance before the father dies. The younger son, after wasting his fortune (the word ‘prodigal’ means ‘wastefully extravagant’), goes hungry during a famine.
He then repents and returns home, where the father holds a feast to celebrate his return. The older son refuses to participate, stating that in all the time the son has worked for the father, he did not even give him a goat to celebrate with his friends.
His father reminds the older son that everything the father has is the older son’s, but that they should still celebrate the return of the younger son as he has come back to them.”
Mr Seed and Bahati, in relation to that parable, say that : It comes a point in Life where people close to you ( i.e your friends, Family ) will disappoint you, but GOD will always Love You. You may never find Love But GOD Will always shower you with Love.
As explained in the book of Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
