Lenny who had been away from the music industry for seven years before his comeback early last year was popularly named as the king of collabos in his hay days  for  hit songs like ‘Githurai’ with Mr.Googz and Vinnie Banton,’Juju’ with Nameless just to name a few and his single Cash money. Some of these songs got nominations in prestigious awards such as the Kora All Africa music awards.

Before his departure from the music scene, the melodious vocalist had recorded and released an album which was produced by R Kay titled ‘Kwa Nini’  in 2007 which produced hit songs like Helena.

His comeback into the industry  brought the hit song ‘Randa randa’ in which he collaborated with his fellow hitmaker Visita and was recorded at Grandpa records. It also got him a mega advertising deal with OLX for his song Cash money from which he pocketed a six figure pay.

The birth of the couple’s little girl maybe termed by many as God’s own way of consoling the family after the loss of Lenny’s sister Esther Manga in January this year who passed on at the Nairobi Hospital after suffering from cerebral aneurysm which is the bulging of an artery in the brain.
