“I’m Not Compromising My Faith” Tina Campbell Says In New Season Of Mary Mary Show

The world witnessed the unraveling of Tina Campbell’s sanity when her father died and her husband admitted to multiple infidelities on the WE tv hit reality television show “Mary Mary.” Now that filming has begun for season five, the gospel singer and author refuses to compromise her faith by representing drama.

“I’m contractually committed, yet I want to reflect my God even with these executives and behind the scenes people,” Campbell said in an interview with a top magazine  . “I’m not compromising my faith by no stretch of the imagination.”

The 41-year-old mother of five built a career as one half of the gospel music duo Mary Mary along with her sister Erica Campbell, who also serves as her reality television co-star. While Tina is the more outspoken of the sisters, she admits that this season is harder for her to film because of her decision to release negativity in her life.

“I’m not what TV likes. TV likes drama and I have a very big personality, [and] I think TV likes that kind of person, but, they’re looking for fear and problems,” Tina said. “I ain’t that. So it’s challenging for me at times. They’ve got to be creative when they’re taping my life and things.”

“The NIV BIBLE Has REMOVED 45 VERSES And Is Owned By A Person Who Publishes A Satanic Bible” : ERICA CAMPBLELL

Christian singer Erica Campbell of Mary Mary astonished her followers on social media by sharing a post purporting that the NIV version of the Bible has removed 45 verses totaling 65000 words from the bible. The NIV bible is a translated version of the Bible from the original King James version and Erica Campbell has revealed that this Bible is misleading Christians.

In a post shared on her facebook page Erica Campbell revealed that the NIV Bible has left out words like Calvary, Jehovah , Omnipotent just to name but a few of the words left from the total of 64475 words. The singer went further to warn her fans not to be blinded by Satan as the NEW owner of NIV Harper Collins has also published the controversial Satanic Bible and the Joy of Gay Sex.

The New International Version is an English translation of the Christian Bible. Biblica is the worldwide publisher and copyright holder of the NIV, and licenses commercial rights to Zondervan in the United States and to Hodder & Stoughton in the UK.

“Christians Need To Think Before Criticizing One Another” Mary Mary’s Erica Campbell Says

Gospel singer Erica Campbell, of the duo Mary Mary who has experienced solo music success with her Help and Help 2.0 albums, is defending her decision to bring edgy new sounds to the gospel music industry like “I Luh God,” despite heavy criticism from some fans.

After some fans questioned the the 43-year-old singer’s decision to blend God centered lyrics over an edgy “trap music” beat frequently heard in secular settings, the first lady of California Worship Center church is speaking up.

“They’re used to (me) very pulled up and polished and singing ‘Yesterday’ and ‘Help.’ But, I just wanted to have fun, declare my love for God and at the same time reach an audience that I think the gospel community sometimes ignores,” Campbell said ” There is Christian hip-hop but I feel that more caucasian children gravitate to it. So, I figured, you’re my people so, let me get with my folks!”

Campbell, who grew up in Inglewood, California, and revealed that growing up in a rough neighborhood has influenced who she is as a person. Even if she has not previously showcased that to the world, it is still a part of her experience.

She accepts that not everyone will appreciate songs like “I Luh God,” but cautioned critics to think about what they’re doing to the body of Christ when they publicly bash her musical expression.

“… I think before you criticize, and especially before you criticize publicly, … because what that does is make the Christian body look even more divided and more argumentative and at war with each other. If you know me, or you know someone that knows me, contact me as opposed to posting something ugly or nasty,” said Campbell. “Now, you’ve created this conversation and the people that like it are mad and the people that don’t like it are mad, and really God gets no Glory out of that. If you take all of the music away, which is the main thing people are mad at, and you just look at the words, you change your total view.”

Campbell said she’s used to doing things differently and facing criticism because of it. Still, she believes that the devil can attack the church in situations where members criticize one another.

After a rough year of infidelity, death and more, Tina Campbell of Mary Mary has made it through. She shares with us how she held onto her faith in the midst of it all, how she forgave her husband and decided to move forward.

 

In an interview with a leading magazine in the U.S Tina said:

“I love my husband more than I ever did. I am deeply in love with him. I was just talking to my brother-in-law last night because a lot of my family is even amazed with it. I don’t check on my husband. I don’t check his e-mails. First of all, I’m not that chick. I think too much of myself to be a detective behind some man. And if I’m going to trust you and give you a chance, I’m going to give you a real chance and a real chance is not holding your hand and micromanaging.”

She added “I was tortured. I was tortured dealing with that information, but guess what? I forgave every bit of it, and I love my husband immensely. I love him with all the passion that I have, and I trust him. I believe everything that he told me and I believe in him, and only God can do that.”

Mary Mary’s Erica Campbell Song Nominated For Grammy Awards

Erica Campbell, one half of the gospel music duo Mary Mary, is praising God after her recent Grammy nomination for her solo radio hit “A Little More Jesus.”

Campbell released her song this summer which was officially announced as a nominee for a Best Gospel Song Grammy. The gospel singer spoke about what the honor meant to her.

“I am beyond excited and so very grateful for the nomination,” Campbell said. “God is so awesome!”

The song is the first single from her first solo album titled HELP which is slated for a March 2014 release . “A Little More Jesus,” gives production credits to her husband and longtime collaborator Warryn Campbell.

Mary Mary Crowned Best Gospel Artist In BET Awards 2013

Mary Mary were announced BET best gospel artiste 2013 during Sunday’s BET Awards, which aired live from Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

Earlier last week we told you that Mary Mary (Erica Atkins-Campbell and Trecina “Tina” Atkins-Campbell) lost their dad and later they released the following statement :

Erica and Tina Campbell (Mary Mary) would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all who have reached out to them during this difficult time. The ladies have been overwhelmed by the love and support of their peers, colleagues, fans, and friends and want to share the below message with you:

“Our dad was a powerful man. Our family had it’s challenges but our love superseded it all. We had the opportunity to profess our love for our father. We were able to tell him how much we loved him, valued him, and how much life had helped us to understand the things that we couldn’t for many years. Our dad was a man of immense physical and spiritual strength. He always covered us in prayer. He warned us when hardships were coming, taught us how to pray through, fight on, and overcome life’s challenges. What better gift can a man give his family. Our family prayed and thanked God for our dad’s life and healing on Monday night and God chose to give him the ultimate healing on Tuesday afternoon, which was a transfer from life on earth to life in Heaven. God sent him out better than we ever could’ve imagine and for that, we will be forever grateful. We love our daddy dearly, respect him highly, and will remember him always.”
