The Awards which seek to celebrate the achievements of remarkable people who have overcome their disabilities, was set to take place on 3rd December. On a statement released to us Daddy Owen said :
“Due to unavoidable circumstances the MALAIKA TRIBUTE AWARDS has been postponed from 3rd December to 19th December 2013”
Malaika Tribute Awards was hosted last year on 18th December and graced by major partners who appreciate disabled persons. The awards will be hosted by Malaika Trust (founded by Daddy Owen) to celebrate the achievements of remarkable people who have overcome their disabilities.
This year will be even much better as they aim to give recognition to the unsung heroes with disabilities in the Kenyan Society.
