Today’s word of the day is brought to you by Kendi Ashitiva a former host at KTN on the tv show Tukuza.

“Woke up this morning thinking about the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11. You know it’s possible to build something Majestic without God. These people agreed without God to build a tower that reaches the heavens so as to make a name for themselves. And they did such a fantastic job God had to send Confusion to stop them.

Today you and I are BUILDERS, we are building Careers, Families, Marriages, Businesses etc. You can actually do it “successfully” without God for a while and everyone will think WOW so and so is sooo successful. But for how long? We now see co-operations struggling, huge companies like KQ, MUMIAS, UCHUMI that we all once envied, are in serious trouble. How were they built? Was God consulted?

As we build let’s consult God in every step of the way, in your marriage, your relationship, your children, your career, let him build WITH YOU.

Proverbs 3:6 says
In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.”

Kendi Ashitiva Reveals What She Will Do NEXT after Leaving KTN Tukuza

With a change comes forth a decision and Kendi Ashitiva made hers prior to leaving KTN on Sunday. The former tv presenter who left Tukuza tv show with DJ Krowbar revealed that her new journey will be to mentor the younger woman in the society through events in the city.

It was a teary moment for Kendi Ashitiva and DJ krowbar on Sunday when they big goodbye to Tukuza Tv show that they have hosted for 2 years and 5 years for the latter.

“Now everyone keeps asking me whats next for me after TUKUZA. Well I have always had a calling to mentor the younger woman, and that’s what I am going to do. I have partnered with great WOMEN around this city to do events to speak into the lives of our sisters. LOOK OUT FOR THOSE,” Kendi Ashitiva shared about her new journey.

Kendi Ashitiva exemplified her new decision being mandated in the word of GOD from the book of Titus in the new testament.

Titus 2:3-5 New International Version (NIV) :

“Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. 4 Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.”

This will sure be an interesting journey for the former tv presenter who has a big heart towards the younger generation and women in particular.

Tv presenter Kendi Ashitiva noted a heartfelt tribute after she left KTN Tukuza on Sunday with award winning gospel deejay Fredrick Karumba alias DJ Krowbar. Kendi Ashitiva bid farewell to the show after working at Standard Media Group for 2 years as a tv host on Tukuza Plus that aired from 11 am to 1 pm.

“When I began this Show two years ago I had no idea it would change my life like it did. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you Lord.

To my family, my precious husband, I honour you my darling. Thank you for giving me your name, it’s pretty cool (ASHITIVA),and to my nanny for holding forte for this young mum I Bless you my girl. To my colleagues only tears can express my love and appreciation to you…. Ohh dear

To my viewers thank you for letting me into your homes each and every SUNDAY! I LOVE YOU ALL!,” Kendi Ashitiva noted.

Tukuza show will now be taking a new turn as award winning radio host Anthony Ndiema stays as the main host.

KTN Presenters Kendi Ashitiva, Anthony Ndiema and DJ Krowbar had a heart to heart moment when they bid farewell to each other on Tukuza gospel show on Sunday.

It was a moment of looking back and giving thanks that brought out emotions of never meeting each other on air again. DJ Krowbar was bidding goodbye to 5 years of hosting the gospel show while Kendi Ashitiva was saying thanks for 2 years of ministry at the show.

I WILL MISS YOU : Kendi Ashitiva And DJ Krowbar Bid GOOD BYE To Tukuza

It was quite an emotional session on Sunday 30th August on KTN as Dj Krowbar and Kendi Ashitiva hosted their last show of Tukuza Plus that has inspired millions of lives for 5 years.

The show which will now be hosted by Anthony Ndiema alone held their farewell finale for the two at JCC Parklnads and in the show the three hosts poured out their hearts on how the show has had a great impact in their lives.

Tukuza show has come a long way since its onset hosted by Anto Ndiema DJ Krowbar and Esther Macharia on Radio Maisha and live on KTN at the same time. Probably you would think that this show is just like any other show but the show has anchored a role of touching lives that’s why it’s called a Fresh start.

“I believe every Christian has a testimony and Tukuza gives people an opportunity to share their experiences. Personal life experiences are great in empowering people and touching souls,” Anthony Ndiema said.

After Mwende Macharia left Anthony Ndiema and DJ Krowbar took the podium to touch lives through inspiring stories that would live one left in tears and blessed at the same time by the guests who tell their personal testimonies.

Later the show was divided into two segments adding Tukuza Plus hosted by Kendi Ashitiva and DJ Krowbar from 11am to 1pm.

The introduction of Kendi added another interesting touch to the show as she just synced together with DJ Krowbar as they matched each other’s words and shared about the word of GOD. DJ Krowbar with the passion of serving GOD exemplified in his speech and Kendi the host with the listening ear and nodding the head as the stories are shared. DJ Krowbar and Kendi Ashitiva will surely be missed as they live KTN but all things work out for good for those that trust in the Lord.
