RIP Kefee : Gospel Singer Kefee Laid To Rest

The late gospel singer, Kefee who died on Friday, June 13, 2014, after being in coma for 15 days, has been laid to rest today in Sapele, Delta. Kefee was an award winning gospel artiste in Nigeria and was loved for her passion to serve GOD through music.

Hundreds of family members, friends and colleagues flocked Okpara-Inland in Ethiope East Local Government, Delta State  Nigeria for the funeral rites.  The service was attended by her husband, Teddy Don-Momoh, siblings, friends and of course family. Also in attendance were singers like Sammie Okposo, Nikki Laoye, COSON boss, Tony Okoroji, comedians, Princess and I go Dye

Kefee will be remembered for her great musical career and for this lovely song called “Kokoroko”.

Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Late Pop Gospel Singer Kefee’s Burial To Take Place This Weekend

Late gospel singer, Kefee Don-Momoh, will be laid to rest on Friday, July 11, 2014, 31 days after she passed away in a U.S hospital.

According to her publicist, the ‘Branama’ singer will be buried in her hometown – Okpara-Inland, Ethiope East local government, Sapele, Delta State.

Kefee’s husband Teddy Don-Momoh recently revealed that the singer’s family insisted she be buried in her hometown.

Kefee’s body is still in the U.S; Teddy has however been making arrangements to bring her back to Nigeria.

May her soul reast in eternal peace.

This Was The Last Video Performance By The Nigerian Gospel Singer Keffe

kefee singingAward winning gospel artist, singer and performer passed on unexpectedly. A sad moment it was for Nigeria as the nation mourned the passing of the prolific and energetic gospel performer.

Keffe remains one of the most widely known gospel artists in Nigeria since her Branama album debut years ago. And her passion to push for gospel music. She battled a medical case of lung cancer and passed on after much attempts made to save her life. (According to her label press release) Keffe had made an unforgettable mark in te gospel music in Nigeria and Africa and will forever be remembered.

RIP: Award-Winning Nigerian Singer Kefee Who Sang “Kokoroko” Has Passed Away

Award-winning Gospel singer, Kefee, has passed away. The singer reportedly slumped while on a flight to the U.S late last month and fell into a coma. Since then, family, friends and well-wishers had been praying for her swift recovery, but  unfortunately she couldn’t make it..

Kefee whose music career started at age eight in her church choir, was famous for her gospel songs ‘Branama’ and ‘Kokoroko’. She won several awards including the best collaboration Headies Award in 2010.

 Until her death, she resided happily with her husband in the US and managed her restaurant, Branama Kitchen, in Lagos.
