J Blessing Takes Kanjii Mbugua To Shoot His New Video Near Tanzania, But Why Is Kanjii Complaining ?

Award winning video director J Blessing decided to take his friend Kanjii Mbugua to a new location of shooting his new video called “Ako Nami”. This is something that Kanjii never saw or even imagined but the director decided that the video would be shot near the border of Tanzania just 16 kilometers near it.

Kanjii thought that it would be just another video shoot but poor him he found himself in a place where the sun had no mercy on him. In the process he got a heat stroke he said, but on the other hand he was excited on how GOD is using him to spread his word through music after taking a break.

“16KMs from the TZ border is where my good friend J. Blessing decided we needed to shoot the brand new video for ‪#‎AkoNami‬!! I am still recovering from heat stroke seriously though I am very excited about sharing this new video with you mostly because the song is such a powerful reminder that God has your/our back in any location and situation” Kanjii said while at the shoot.

Mavuno Worship Leader and CEO of Kijiji records Kanjii Mbugua is on a journey to get close with GOD and has now released his 2nd video called “Rauka” of his new album. The video which was done in a live recording set-up brings “Kanjii the Worshipper” out exemplifying his main agenda which he says is to encourage and inspire people to get closer with God and experience the amazing power of worship.

Kanjii uganda post

Kanjii shares the message of Rauka as :

The song Rauka in many ways symbolizes this vision. So many times we want to praise God from our place of happiness. My experience has been that in our darkest of moments putting God in his rightful place accomplishes 1 of 2 things. The situation changes or my attitude toward my situation changes. Either way, break through!

Habakkuk 3: 17 captures this perfectly
“Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.”

Kanjii Shares On Why He Hasn’t Released “A Song” For The Last 5 Years

Many have loved him for his heart of worship and some started asking where did Kanjii go to ? Now Kanjii Mbugua is back and he has one sole goal which is to win souls for GOD. He has been silent but not that silent for now 5 years and now he is back with a new album material.

kanjii post

On his statement on why he went silent Kanjii says :

I haven’t released any album material in 5 years my largest reason is I have always felt that as an artist I should have something important to say if I am to put it in song.

That season is over. My heart is for introducing new songs that will draw people into a deeper and more meaningful relationship with God. Look out for the 1st single #MfalmeMkuu  of the 14 track African worship album #Rauka.

Like my good friend Timothy Kaberia says. Africa Let’s Worship #CTA101
