For a fact media plays a major role in pushing for publicity of an artiste’s music. This can be seen through the rise of public figures whom one could not have not noticed them if they didnt have music.
Juliani is one of the artiste’s whom the media has been like a friend/family to, in raising awareness abouth him through playing his music. On this note he hosted a media party on Thursday evening to award/appreciate persons in media who have supported his music before he releases his new album Exponential Potential.
This was something different being hosted by an artiste as seldom would you see this but Juliani did it. The winners were voted for by his fans through social media campaigns that he had set up and outrightly the personality with most votes was chosen.

Juliani/Julius Owino has released a new single talking about love affairs in relationships and as he puts it better “Morio and Juliet” is the title. This is a song that is part of his new album Exponential Potential that seeks for the listener to return back to his/her roots rather than reaching for higer things.
The song was given a first listen to his friends and fans during his listening/birthday party at Go Down Arts Centre on April 22nd. Now the rest of the audience who didn’t have the opportunity to listen can take a listen and share their thoughts.

Award winning hip-hop singer Julius Owino/Juliani is set to make a new mark in this country as he is bringing the DO AGRIC campaign to life in East Africa. Juliani will be travelling across the region talking to farmers, youth, media, and decision-makers about why we need to invest in agriculture now.
Juliani who was made the ONE campaign “Do Agric” Ambassador will be holding a “Farming Is Cool Concert Tour” around Kenya starting with Nakuru on February 14th.
Juliani shares why he is committed in the “Do Agric” campaign by saying :
“I’ve been committed to spreading the gospel about agribusiness as a real solution to poverty and unemployment. Using music, in 2013, my Farming is Cool initiative promoted and supported small-scale agriculture for youth across Kenya.”
Right now, young people see agriculture as the way their parents and grandparents can make a living. Instead of joining the sector, they move to urban areas, or are still on the farm, but waiting to come to Nairobi.
Juliani will be holding a tour concert on February 14th at Nakuru outside Rafikiz Lounge from 6pm till Dawn. Entry Ksh.200/=
Julius Owino alias Juliani after releasing the Utawala song is now set to launch an Utawala tour dubbed as the UTAWALA mtaani appearances.
The Utawala mtaani appearance is to be unveiled in 17 mtaas including among others Westlands,Dagoreti,Langata and Kasarani .The tour is set to run from the month July 16th to August 18th, dvd and vcd’s will also be on sale in all the Mtaas.
Juliani/Julius Owino dubbed the voice of the youth a born again Christian is one guy who is just making headlines in most of the media houses.
The reason is because he has done so many amazing projects to build the youth and encouraging them to grow through their talents.
Recently he did Voters Vs Vultures song before the March Elections which spoke about bad leadership and how Kenyans should make the right choice when electing leaders “Tusi Bleed Ndio Wa Lead”.
Now he has also done a song called Utawala which now has thousands of views on you tube and gets a lot of air play on tv. Just to mention Utawala article is the most read story on our website.
The funny thing is that our brother Juliani forgot the lyrics of Utawala when being interviewed on KTN. It happens to many artistes i would say.
