IDA Odinga Writes A Heartwarming Tribute To Fidel Odinga

On monday November 2nd former prime ministers wife Ida odinga wrote a moving tribute to her late son Fidel odinga, a day he would have celebrated his 42nd birthday.

in the special tribute that was posted on her official handle Ida expressed how she felt on the day she gave birth to her lovely son Fidel Castro Odinga.

“Today is the first time we celebrate youth birthday without you being physically present, but you are ably represented by your son Allay who is a mirror image of you and your wife Lwam,” the flowing tribute written in English and Dholuo reads in part.

“Fondly missed by dad, your sisters Rozzy and Winnie, your brother Raila Junior and Yvonne, your nieces Saphie and Senayi, your entire familyand friends. Constantly in our throughts and forever in our prayers. Until we meet again.”

The late Fidel Odinga is Raila Odinga’s son was born in the year 1973 and passed on in January 4th 2015 at his home in Karen.

Bahati,Emmy Kosgei, Dj Mo & Dj Sadic Send Their Condolence Messages To Odinga’s Family

The untimely death of the first son of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga ,came as a painful and shocking  news to many Kenyans who had viewed him as to be a potential future leader.

“It is with profound sorrow that my wife Ida and I announce the untimely passing of our eldest son, Fidel Castro Odinga. We thank you all for the outpouring of messages of condolence and solidarity at this time of grief. May the Lord rest my beloved son’s soul in eternal peace! We shall give further communication in the coming days. RAO”.This was the message posted on Raila Odinga’s facebook page hours after the demise of his son , Fidel Castro.

“It is very painful and sad for a parent to lose his or her son” this is one message that was shared across by many prominent persons in the country this including among others Deputy President William Ruto and venture capitalist Heshan Desilva.

Many celebrities and politicians took time to send  their condolence messages through the social media platform , gospel artists Bahati, Dj Mo, Dj Sadic and Emmy Kosgei included.

The loss of Fidel Odinga, Raila Odinga’s first born son has grabbed headlines for the last 24 hours after he passed away at his home in Karen after a night out with his friends. With the cause of death not clear as per now it must be hard for the former prime minister to easily accept that he will not see his son again and the president as a friend decided to visit him to console him.

R.I.P : Raila Odinga’s Son FIDEL, Has Passed On

The home of former prime minister Raila Odinga is in a somber mood after the passing of his son Fidel Odinga.

Fidel Odinga is reportedly said to have passed on unclear circumstances after he had a night out with friends on  Saturday night. The body ofraila was found on his bed on Sunday morning and police have initiated investigations to find out the cause of his death.

 

Police say preliminary findings show Fidel had been out Saturday night before he came home early Sunday morning. It’s not clear what caused the death. A group of Members of Parliament and Senators trooped to Raila’s home on receiving the news of the death.
