Governor Kidero on Saturday joined other worshipers at Nairobi Baptist where he shared about his love for Don Moen’s music and what a privilege it was to host him in Kenya. In a brief speech the governor stated that Don Moen had come at the right time to give hope and restore confidence especially when Kenya had gone through a moment of mourning a month after 148 Kenyans were mercilessly killed at the Garissa University college.
“Don Moen, Lenny LeBlanc and your entire members of your great International Christian band. I was very honored that you came to Nairobi City.
Your worship songs have strengthened most of us in many moments of our lives. In times of Joy we have celebrated Jesus…… in terms of great challenges truly God has always made a way.
God brought you to not only worship with Kenyans but to strengthen us as well as restore confidence to the world that our land is a safe haven to come and relax while seeing the great beauty of our mountains; our great plains of the Mara; our pristine beaches at the Coast; while enjoying our rich and diverse cultural moments. The governor went further to quote a verse from Psalms 127 which speaks of GOD’s protection over a city :
“The word of God says in Psalms 127: verse 1 “Except the lord keep the City, The watchman wakes but in vain.”
Thank you Don because today you remind us of this: Our Lord is in charge of this City and I know that all is well…… and it shall remain well to his glory.”
Kenyans were left inspired by the interview of renown singer Don Moen and his best friend Lenny Le Blanc who are in the country for a two day concert at Nairobi Baptist church. The two were hosted by award winning journalist Jeff Koinange on the Bench on Thursday evening where they shared about their journey of music, ministry and challenges experienced.
With many Kenyans being ardent followers of Don Moen’s music for over 20 years, his interview was a moment of hope and inspiration as he shared about GOD’s plans for the nation. From one song request to another Kenyans kept tweeting ‘thick and fast’ as Jeff Koinange calls it and his performance was just inspirational.
Jeff Koinange even found himself sitting on the edge of the bench for the 1st time as he interviewed Don and Lenny while they played their musical instruments in harmony.

From the moment he was hosted in Mombasa to his moment of meeting the Deputy President Don Moen says that his visit to Kenya was timely and GOD called him for a purpose.
William Ruto’s heart of worship probably was inspired by great singers like Don Moen and Lenny Le Blanc whom he hosted at his home in Karen for Dinner. Joined by Don Moen’s wife and the deputy president’s wife, Rachel Ruto , the 4 had a worthwhile time at the dinner table while sharing about the love of GOD that sustains the life of Christian.
Don Moen and Lenny Le Blanc have been in the country for about a week now where they were first hosted at the gates of the nation in Mombasa, by ICC Church. The two later performed at Worship at the gates concerts that took place on 1st and 2nd May from 5pm in the evening. Later this evening they will lead Christians to worship at Nairobi Baptist Church at a concert that will be seen as a platform of raising faithfuls to praise and worship for 2 days.
The deputy president celebrated the two singer by stating that it was an honor to host them as they bring a message of hope to the nation looking at what has been happening lately.
Tomorrow is the day that every resident in Mombasa has been craving for and finally they will experience it when Don Moen and Lenny Le Blanc will grace the platform set up by concert systems to lead them to worship.
The concert will be a 2 day concert on 1st and 2nd May before another two concerts in Nairobi.

It’s all good news for Nairobi residents as its now confirmed that Don Moen will be coming to Nairobi after the Mombasa Concert. The renown worship singer who is famed for his song ‘GOD will Make A Way’ will be coming to Kenya for the very 1st time and his 1st stop will be in Mbaraki Stadium on 1st and 2nd May in Mombasa.
Later Don Moen will be coming to Nairobi for another concert to usher Nairobian’s into the presence of the Lord.
Speaking to one of the organizers Timothy Kaberia of AFLEWO, he said that it’s confirmed that Don Moen will be coming to Nairobi after the Mombasa concert as they have been working with other sponsors.

Don Moen will be coming to Kenya at the start of May for a two day concert set to be hosted in Mombasa at Mbaraki Sports stadium. With his tour set to attract thousands of christian faithfuls from different geographical jurisdictions many Nairobi residents feel like they might miss his live concert because of the traveling distance and costs of accommodation.
Reports reaching us is that Don Moen might be hosted in Nairobi after his concert in Mombasa which will run from May 1st to May 2nd. The worship singer who is famed for his song ‘GOD Will Make A Way’ will be making his first tour to Kenya in which he stated that he is so excited to grace.
Different sponsors in the christian circle are working on bringing him to Nairobi after the Mombasa concert in a one day event that might be hosted on May 9th. The weekend following his concert in Mombasa.
The Nairobi concert if hosted, will be a great moment to remember for Nairobian’s who recently graced the William Mc Dowell concert late last year.
After leaving Kenya Don Moen will be heading to Mauritius where he will be having a live acoustic concert on 17th May.

Don Moen will be to Kenya This May, for the first time in a worship concert that will be held in Mombasa on 1st and 2nd May . In a video sent to ICC Church Mombasa Don Moen confirmed his attendance by stating that GOD has made a way and he will be coming with his friend Lenny Le Blanc.
Donald James/Don Moen is an American singer, songwriter, pastor, and producer of Christian worship music and is famously known for his song GOD will make a way. His concert will be held at Mbaraki sports club with ICC church Mombasa being the major sponsors of the tour.

Moen’s first album for Hosanna! Music, Give Thanks, became the label’s bestseller. He followed this with a number of successful albums of his own including two, En Tu Presencia and Trono De Gracia, in Spanish. God with Us won the Dove Award for Best Musical.
On an Asian tour in 1999 he recorded The Mercy Seat at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore and Heal Our Land at Yoido Park in South Korea, which was released in 2000. One of Moen’s albums, I Will Sing, was recorded at Christian Broadcasting Network.
Laura and Don Moen got married in May 19th, 1973 after a concert in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The wedding was a memorable one as after the great concert, Evangelist Terry Law surprised the audience that had graced it by inviting all of them to stay for the wedding of their guitarist then, Don Moen and his fiancé, Laura Shrock.
The wedding started at 10:00 PM and Don remembers the lovely moment by saying : “I had a thousand people at my wedding that I didn’t know!! ☺ The entire Living Sound group sang at my wedding and I played “Love Is A Many Splendored Thing”

A massive crowd turned up for Don Moens worship seminar concert held at Miracle Centre cathedral , Kampala uganda .According to Don Moen many lives were touched by the message that God was passing through his worship songs.
In statement after the concert moen said:
“Thank you Lord for a beautiful evening last night for our final concert in Kampala! I pray lives were touched as we worshiped together.”

American singer, songwriter, pastor, and producer of Christian worship music Donald James/Don Moen and Lenny Le Blanc will be touring Uganda a live concert at Kampala and Makerere Univerity.
The two celebrated worship leaders will be in Uganda in early June for a three show visit. Their first show will take place in Victoria hall at Serena hotel on 1st June for only 120,000shs per head. Later on Moen will proceed to Makerere University sports grounds where he will perform for students. Entry will be 20,000shs and 50,000shs VIP.
Moen’s final concert will be held at Miracle Centre cathedral where he will lead a worship seminar. To attend one will have to part with 20,000shs.

Moen did not just upload the picture but went ahead to write a prayer for the innocent abducted young girls.
Moen who has been a blessing to many through his music ministry wrote a very powerful prayer on social media asking his fans to join him in the prayer.
