When and why did you start De’Leo Media?
De’leo media was started on April 2012 by a group of passionate guys who had similar interest in the
entertainment industry. We learnt that there was a lot of talent among the young people but no platform to for them to showcase it.We also wanted to market growing businesses through adverts and events.
What companies/artist/organisations have you worked with?
We have worked with a lot of artist such as Ayanna, Manasseh, Tybe, Stema G, K-Zee among others who all have had great hits in the gospel industry. We have also done adverts for Uzuri Institute and Decos Bakery which is among the leading distributors of its products to Tuskys supermarket and others. De’Leo has also done major events such as Launching of the Kenya Airways Cargo and Mr and Miss Ruaraka beauty pageant.
What are your ongoing project?
We are currently working on I SPEAK THE WORD which is a talent management brand where we mentor and manage artist .We also have an ongoing project with Mbuvi who is a gospel art.
What separates you from other production houses?
The team consists of the most creative people in this industry hence good quality products. We don’t do it for the money we do it because we believe in our clients talent.De’Leo Media unlike other production houses do more than producing videos. We do adverts and organise events. We are all about Positive talent.
What challenges do you face as you work?
We mostly work with young artist and some of them are not be fully established in the industry. The negativity in this comes up when time comes for us to receive our share of the money. Some will instantly escape or take long before they pay us.
What plans do you have for DeLeo Media few years from now?
Our main goals as a team is to start a media training institute where we will offer a lot of practical training rather than theory. This will bring raw powerful talent.
