On his 45th birthday Pastor Muriithi Wanjau popularly known as Pastor M revealed a few things that people need to know about him as a christian. From marriage, to his journey of salvation, to his mentors, Pastor M looked back at his life and thanked GOD for walking with him through it.
This is what he said :
On my 45th birthday, I realize that this is as mid life as it ever gets! As I look back over my life, I am grateful to God for the life that I’ve lived and for the many good decisions He has led me to make. I’m also sobered to realize that the four most important ones were made in my teens and early twenties; important because they set the direction for the rest of my life. These were :
1. Giving my life to Jesus at 16
2. Finding a life mentor at 18 when I met Pastor Oscar Muriu & joined the Nairobi Chapel family
3. Signing up for the Nairobi Chapel internship program at 22 where I made a decision to totally surrender my life to God’s purpose
4. Marrying Carol at 24
THANK YOU JESUS – for the gift of life, love, and purpose. You gave it to me all those years ago and I give it completely and totally back to you. It’s all about you. ‘For me to live is Christ and to die is gain’. Let’s do this
