The father of Kenyan gospel, Bishop Ben Bahati was laid to rest on Saturday 15th November at his home in Kakamega county. Dignitaries including former prime minister Raila Odinga, Bonny Khalwale and Moses Wetangula graced the occasion to say good bye to Bishop Ben Bahati who had left a great influence to children and other members in his church at Eldoret.
The late Bishop Ben Bahati had been admitted at Nairobi hospital for over a month after he had broken his neck in a ghastly road accident that took place on his way to Eldoret. He passed on after succumbing to his injuries on his hospital bed in Nairobi hospital and his family joined by close friends laid him to rest at his home in Marava Village, Kakamega.
