Dr.Alfred Mutua will definitely go down the history books as one of the most outgoing governors based on his Maendeleo Chapchap initiative that is meant to ensure rapid development in Machakos County.
Apart from the strides he had made to ensure that Machakos County’s development is fast paced, Dr. Alfred Mutua recently did step out from his usual routine and interacted with his electorates as he visited them at their homes and places of work.
In his meet the people tour the Governor had the opportunity to share with common Mwananchi on ways to improve their lives ,apart from that the people also had a chance to air with their views with their Governor.

Today I toured a few areas of Machakos town constituency on a “meet the people” tour.
I met Wananchi at their homes and work places and listened to the issues that they would like my Government to address so as to improve their lives. I was happy to see Machakos residents busy at work and full of positive spirit and support.
