Deputy President William Ruto sent a message of condolence to Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko after his father died on Sunday evening.
“My condolences to the family of Senator Mike Sonko on the loss of your father. May the Almighty God give you strength and comfort during this time of sorrow,” DP Ruto wished the family strength during this tough time.
Mike Sonko’s father had been admitted at the Intensive Care Unit of Nairobi Hospital and had earlier on Sunday urged Kenyans to pray for his dad before he passed on.
Sadly his dad succumbed to the illness at the hospital and was declared dead in the evening.
