Many Nairobians have raised issues about the changes made by governor Kidero to close round a bouts in regards to the new traffic management plan in the CBD. On Monday morning Kenyans raised their feelings on the new changes that have probably not been that effective or say efficient in reducing traffic jam in Nairobi. With most of them being negative to the plan Governor Kidero was trending on social media or a couple of hours.
The comments have now made the Nairobi governor to respond by urging Nairobi residents to at least bear with him by giving the plan time. He said :
I know most of you are frustrated with the traffic experience especially on Mombasa road and it’s environs. Please bear with me as the traffic management and decongestion team constituted to ensure this works is currently reviewing and working round the clock to ease traffic and ensure you get to your respective destinations in good time. I will work tirelessly to ensure this is achieved.
During this past weekend Holy Dave and his sister Joey must have experienced what we call ‘scary’ after his home dogs were killed by robbers who attempted to rob their home in Machakos.
Holy Dave through his IG account shared on how thugs tried to break into their Machakos home but failed to achieve their goal.
The thugs started by gassing their dogs at their home before trying to enter the compound but the guards were there to protect the place.
He said :
Thugs visited our Machakos home at night and gassed our 3 pets/security dogs. Fortunately the security guards were not harmed and the thugs didn’t manage to break in. The dogs have served us well and kept us safe for over 10 years and we’ll miss them. They died on the frontline… Salute. RIP. Cc @joeymuthengi”
On Sunday Fredrick Karumba/DJ Krowbar celebrated his 10th year anniversary as a gospel deejay, a journey that started with a single step of having interest in touching the decks.
With his wife starting the celebrations on National tv by surprising Krowbar with a birthday cake, many other friends and deejays joined in to celebrate a man who has been a friend to them. The day Peter Kahura Kaberere passed on will be that day when everything just stopped, the time , the mood and even the thoughts were all diverted.
Many Christians who knew him went like : Did this just happen ? Is it really Kabbz who has passed on ? Someone who was so healthy and full of life ?
Our phone started ringing, twitter mentions , whatsapp messages it was a day that we would always remember.
All these questions might have been the same shared by Njesh Wa Kabz who at that time was waiting to deliver their 2nd baby who was later to be born hours after his burial in Lang’ata. She remembered his life yesterday 6th April by stating that his music is now heavens melodies and adding that his legacy still lives in our hearts.
She said :
“Kabbz a year sounds like a day…. You Live in our hearts and on Jesus’ feet. Your songs are now heavens melodies!!”
Kaberere was seen as a mentor in the gospel industry and his passing on that day through an electrocution was shocking to many who loved his songs and his way of living life.
In an interview with Eve woman two months ago Njesh stated how life has been without Kabbz and the fact that GOD has been in control in everything.
“I have my low moments but I know that God is in control. Kabz death is about God. It has not been easy, but I have learnt to count on God. He gives me strength to face each day and be there for my children,” she says.
According to Njesh, death has taught her many things, the most important being that we must always show love and appreciate those we hold dear to our hearts since we don’t know about tomorrow.
“It feels empty being without him, both at home and at work, since we worked in the same company. My son Ulani, always has this notion that his dad has gone away to work because when he was still alive he used to travel a lot for work-related assignments.
Kabbz was a worship singer who we will always miss. Talented , humble and so generous. A Man after GOD owns heart.
Just because an opportunity presents itself, and it looks appealing, doesn’t necessarily mean it is from God. And likewise, just because an open door looks a little uncertain, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t walk through it.
The key is knowing how to discern if an opportunity is really an open door from God. I don’t want to miss those open doors because I was afraid to walk through them. But I also don’t want to take every opportunity that comes along, assuming it is from God’s hand and has his blessings attached.
In a recent conversation with a friend we talked about the faith and courage to walk through a door that God is holding open for us, even if we’re not exactly sure of what’s on the other side. But then the question came up: How can you tell if God is the one opening the door?
The Bible gives us some principles to help us discern if an “open door” or opportunity is really from God:
1. The Door that God Opens Will Never Contradict His Word
Many Christians see opportunities to make more money as an open door from God, even though the opportunity means a job that will keep them from regular fellowship or service in their church. However, God’s Word tells us not to neglect meeting together for worship (Hebrews 10:25). Some women have told me that they believe God opened a door to a dating relationship for them, even though it meant being in a situation where they were “unequally yoked” with an unbeliever, which Scripture also warns against (2 Corinthians 6:14). God will not lead you toward an opportunity that contradicts what he clearly says in his Word. Nor will he open a door that would require personal compromise or disobedience in order for you to enter. As humans prone to sin, we have an excellent way of turning a clear mandate of God’s completely around and justifying it by our circumstances, but that is not how God works. If there is a compromise in any way, or we have to bend Scripture to justify our “open door” then it is likely not a door that God is opening for us. I would call anything that contradicts his Word a temptation, rather than an open door from God. And God’s Word clearly says that God does not tempt us (James 1:13-14).
2. The Door that God Opens Will be Accompanied by Confirmation
In Matthew 18:15-16, Jesus laid out instructions for confronting sin among believers saying “But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses’.” I believe the same applies when it comes to God confirming something in his Word. He will often confirm or establish a matter by “two or three witnesses” whether they be verses from the Word of God, advice from a pastor or well-respected person who is grounded in Scripture, or a non-compromising circumstance that continues to present itself. Through prayer, discernment and seeking godly counsel, you should be able to tell if that “open door” and its confirmations are truly coming from God. 3. The Door God Opens Will Require You to Depend on Him
God is not going to give us something that will alienate us from him or make us believe we no longer need him. He is a God of relationship, and a God who insists upon being first in our lives (Matthew 6:33). Therefore, if you find yourself saying “I can’t do this unless God goes before me,” or “I can do this, but only with God’s help and leading” I would say, in my personal experience, it’s likely something God is calling you to do. Hebrews 11:6 says: “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for he who comes to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.” Many times an “open door” from God is one that allows our faith to be stretched and strengthened. That, after all, is God’s objective for us: to grow in faith and Christ-likeness.
Take your opportunity or “open door” to God and ask for his confirmation – through his Word and godly counsel from others – and his peace in the decision, and you can have the assurance that you aren’t just choosing a door at random, but you’re carefully walking through the ones he wants you to enter.

Willy Paul’s mum went missing on Monday evening and since then Willy Paul has been searching for her with his friends in the music industry. Surprisingly the artiste who helped find his mum is renown artiste Jaguar who seems to have known the right people and the right location where Willy Paul’s mum could be located.

Born again gospel producer Yo Alex who produced Mwanake by Benachi and Kaberere is a grateful son of GOD after a car nearly run him over on Thursday morning. Yo Alex was heading to work on Thursday morning and little did he know that while he was walking along the road than he would find himself at a place where a car was speeding towards him just about to run him over.
Lucky for him the car didn’t hit him as it just missed him by a whisker and passed ahead, Yo Alex said.
Though shaken by the incident he still had the courage to soldier on with his journey and in the end he thanked GOD.
He said :
“Thank you God for the gift of life.Right now i could be either dead or bad condition but your mighty hand has saved me.I missed by a whisker this morning.A speeding car almost ran over me this morning while i was heading to the studio.Thank you God am alive”
Such moments are quite scary if you have come across careless drivers in Nairobi and I can imagine how Yo Alex felt when he saw the car speeding towards him.
4 years ago in 2011 the CEO of Sakata Media – SK Blue – walked down the aisle and wedded his close friend called Mercy in a ceremony that would see Mercy riding on a boat.
Fast forward to 2015, a few weeks after they celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary In January 4th the couple has now been blessed with a cute baby girl.
The baby was born yesterday and was named Natalia which means “Christmas Day” in Latin , which is the day when Christ was born.

Gospel singer Nina Njoroge who is a pastor and a worship teacher at House of Grace church showered her beautiful mum with so much love when she met her on Thursday. Nina Njoroge who celebrated her wedding anniversary during valentine’s day with her hubby Anthony exemplified how important mothers are by showering her mum with a lovely kiss on the cheek.

Jamila Mbugua adopted two girls under the Jielimishe Girl Educatin Challenge which is run under the adopt a school campaign.
Rarely would one give if they do not expect something in return but Jamila Mbugua who feels that her call is to serve decided to just give as a symbol of aid.
Jamila Mbugua generously committed to adopt two girls to go through school by paying school fees worth Ksh. 15,000 per year, sanitary towels worth 1260 p.a and a few educational materials worth Ksh 5, 000/- that would assist the girls to achieve their dreams.
The Bible says :
In Acts 20:35 : “I have showed you all things, how that so laboring you ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Joining the fight against jiggers campaign led by Ahadi Kenya Trust Betty and Charles Otieno CEO of Standard Group decided to visit hundreds of pupils at Siroro Primary school , Siaya County to donated bags of shoes and slippers.
Those infested with jiggers in the county were treated , given sanitation ,medication material and provided with shoes to wear.
According to Ahadi Kenya Trust led by CEO Stanley Kamau Ahadi Kenya has committed to give new shoes all over the country to the poor and vulnerable children.
