Donnie McClurkin Donates Over 625,000 Dollars In Jamaica

Pastor and gospel recording artist Donnie McClurkin donated over $625,000 in medical supplies to benefit Jamaica’s public health sector.

Jamaica’s Health Minister Dr. Fenton Ferguson received the donation, which amounts to over $6 million in Jamaican dollars, during a press conference and expressed appreciation on behalf of the government while noting that the supplies will be distributed on a demand basis to hospitals and health centers across Jamaica.

McClurkin, said the act of kindness was made simply because he loves the island and its culture, has been known to make large contributions to humanitarian causes in the past.

In 2010, he decided to donate all funds from his 50th Jubilee Gala Celebration to the Haitian earthquake relief efforts of Feed The Children, World Vision and Operation Compassion.

McClurkin’s donation to Jamaica was made in partnership with his New York-based congregation, Perfecting Faith Church.

Marriage is a beautiful thing many say, if you look at the excited and happy faces that smile at you on the once in a life time “Wedding Day”. The talented gospel Deejay under the Kubamba Krew Unit, Deejay Tismo, will be saying “I Do” in just 100 days on his wedding day to his lovely fiancee.

Deejay Tismo is one of the ministers in Kenyan gospel ministry who go out to spread the gospel to schools through out Kenya in the K-krew missions. Having proposed to his girlfriend Hilda on Friday 4th October 2013, the couple has now set a special day for the wedding day.

Yes I DO will be the vital word that everyone will be waiting for this lovely love birds to utter in that special day. Once they utter the magic words, they will now be committed under the “Almighty GOD” in a union called marriage that will last for their life time.

Tismo says he is excited and cant wait for the moment and so are we as we wish him all the best.

Christian ministry can be defined in terms of the Great Commission of our Lord: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you” (Matt. 28:19-20). Pastor Nikko Ochieng known for his great heart of worship will be serving on the great commission as he goes to minister in Congo.

Nikko has played major role in leading worship at Nairobi Chapel and seen on special occasions such as the 300 voices with Enid Moraa. Nikko has been going out ton serve as this is a mandate given to us by GOD as born again Christians who are the disciples the Christ.

Having ministered in Mombasa and having an amazing time of praise and worship at Praise Chapel, Mombasa Niko will now be heading to Congo, Goma for yet another exciting time in God’s presence.

The pride of Kenya Moipei triplets Mary, Martha and Magdalene and their younger sister Seraphine are on a USA Tour that started in February 2014. Among other venues they are set to perform they will grace a church where President Obama exchanged wedding vows with Michelle Obama.

They performed at the Flower Centre on February 22nd before they went to grace the Touhill Performing Arts Center on March 2nd. Loved by many for their vocl prowess the lovely sisters have surely made Kenya proud.
