Kambua is soon set to grace our television screens and no not in a song video but as an actor. The passionate gospel artiste is set to make her debut acting career alongside renowned actress Mary Gacheri, actor and singer Pascal Tokodi, Fidelis Nyambura among others in the MNET feature.
The name of the film and date of release are yet to be revealed with Joan Kabugu as the script writer.
Yesterday Kambua posted this on her social media page, ‘’Long post alert* A couple of months ago I met up with @juanitawriter and @beckymuikia. They had a brilliant idea for a film they wanted to do. “YAY”! I said, “go for it”! I just didn’t know what the catch was- they wanted me on the cast. “Ummm ok…yes…I guess”. And before I could change my mind, scripts were written and we shot a pilot. I met brilliant actors like @pascaltokodi and @fidehnyams This past week we started filming. What an experience! I’m still catching my breath. The gorgeous woman above, “Mary Gacheri” is so amazing. I only used to see her on TV Mummy I kinda made it ????. Anyway when it’s all done I hope you’ll make a point of watching it.’’

“Friendship, like phosphorus, shines brightest when all is dark” this is one statement that Gospel artiste HeyZ will keep in mind for a long time to come. This is after alot of his freinds and family came out to support him in raising money for the hospital bill of baby Riri.
Baby Riri is the daughter of HeyZ’s younger sister, Abigael Moya, who passed away on 15th August 2016 while giving birth. Baby Riri has since been moved from Nairobi womens hospital to Agha Khan’s hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for better treatment due to health complications.
The message about the fundraising was spread across all social media platforms thanks to social media big wigs like Chris Kirwa, Xtian Dela, Carol Spenser and many more who made the #istandwithbabyriri trend.The fundraising took place on 18th August 2016 from 5pm at the Chester House, Nairobi.
HeyZ was perplexed, lost for words and overwhelmed as to how people came in numbers to support him and his family. Amongest those who showed their support were Blessed Njugush (formerly of Real Housewives of Kawangware), Dj Sadiq, Kim Danny, Dj Mo, Chris Kirwa, Xtian Dela, Dj Joe Mfalme, Celina (mother-in-law), Abel Mutua, Tina Kagia, Willis Raburu, Carol Spenser, Sarah Carey, Dj Katter, Hopekid and many more.

We have atleast seen him once or a couple of times or even bought his music from him, David Ramogi aka Mogi Moggs is a gospel artiste who has been selling his music on the streets.
It has not been easy for Mogi Moggs as he has been on the streets for the past 6 years, most of the time you would find him standing outside IMAX movie theater selling his music cds, but things seem to have taken a twist for good as he wrote on his facebook page.
“Good evening people of God just want to say that very soon i will be out of the streets after 6years. Its been awesome and amazing seeing people get saved answered prayer and also having great testimonies from people out there. 3weeks remaining. For all who need a cd its not to late to do so. Transition is a process to greatness and also not so easy but its something we need to embrace. When your used to doing the same thing over and over you can get used to it but transition comes in to remove you from comfort zone to the unknown. Adjusting to the unknown is not easy but its worth it and this is how God speaks to us. So when I say this is because I know how God has been good to me and that how He has gotten me out to another level and I was faithful been on the streets for the 6 years and now things are changing for the best. Tumekubali which is currently rocking airwaves in Kenya too, is her 4th song in her new album that speaks of giving thanks to GOD for the togetherness and unity in East Africa.
”My vision is to work for our lord Jesus Christ until the day of my calling. I have the desire of reaching out the to youth who have not found Christ so that they turn to God for their lives, for my heart pains when I see youth engaged in drugs and acts of immorality.

Gospel singer Willy Paul will be smiling all the way from his house to the bank as his mega endorsement with Safari Pride water has started rolling. Willy Paul was made the new face for the brand which will be using his photo of their water bottles that are distributed on retail shops across East Africa.
Willy Paul had previously stated that something great is coming up and seeing himself on a water bottle must have made him really elated. He went further to share the news with his fans by stating :
I have been endorsed by a very big water company and am now there new face in the whole of East Africa. Billboards with my pictures will be all over.
Just as you can see in the photo am already branded on the plastic bottles.
This is a very big step for me as willy paul msafi the water is called SAFARI PRIDE WATER and its the best.

Renown gospel singer Rosy Ohon Has released her new single after Eshe Baba called Tabasamu.
Tabasamu which means “Smile” is a praise song with message from book of Hebrews 13:16.
She explains the message as “Do not neglect to do good & share what you have for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”
On her public statement Rosy Ohon says :

We are used to having the same types of Marathon races year in year out including among others Ndakaini half marathon and the standard chartered marathon that usually have a big turnout. This year things are happening a bit different after the 1st Lady Margaret Kenyatta championed the “Beyond Zero” Campaign by launching her marathon dubbed as the Margaret Kenyatta Marathon whose aim was to reduce preventable maternal and child deaths.
Margret Kenyatta ensured that she did not just launch the marathon but also became part of team that was competing in the marathon. Amazingly she did not just start and stopped after a few meters as many might have predicted rather she ended up finishing the entire race thereby making her the first “1st Lady” in the world ever to finish a marathon.
President Kenyatta who was among the many Kenyans who attended the marathon was deeply moved by her wife’s great display of leadership in finishing the race . He publicly congratulated his wife and thanked Kenyans for turning up in large numbers for the event and supporting the campaign.

“No matter where you are from,your dreams are valid”. Great words of wisdom that will go on record having being said by an innocent Kenyan child Lupita Nyongo who had a dream at a tender age and held on it till this day.
She will be remembered having said this words in one of the biggest awards ceremonies, infront of the top actors of our time and as the whole world including Kenya was watching.
Lupita Nyongo just made her parents and the entire Kenyan family proud by win an award at the Oscars one of the biggest awards in the world. She was announced as the Best Supporting Actress in the movies “12 Years A Slave” where she played a role as Patsey, a favored but abused slave.
Certainly with this award she will go down to be the first Kenyan to win an Oscar Award and the 7th black woman to win the oscars.

“I Toni Braxton solemnly swear that I will record a gospel, inspirational or whatever genre it’s called album with my sisters.” These were the words indicated in a contract between Toni and her sister committing them to produce a gospel album.
Towanda Braxton let fans know that the sisters were serious about the record by live tweeting during the show writing, “Who’s ready for a Braxton Family Gospel Album?”
Tamar Braxton, the youngest of the famed singers, who recently rose to the top of the R&B charts with her album “Love & War,” spoke about her sisters needing to move forward with the project.
“I feel like me and my sisters need this where we all put our talents together and work together in harmony,” she said .

Garbage and filth surrounded their makeshift shanty in a small-scale dump in Kigali, Rwanda. Five years ago, three street boys, David, Pacifique, and D’Amour lived in this squalor, their minds obsessed with survival and numbing their pain.
After they were taken in by a ministry that operates a small home for wayward boys, they never dreamed they would one day become gospel artists, with their first song receiving local radio play.
They had no hope in life before they approached a children s home Hope of Life Ministrys (HFLM), based in Kigali. HFLM’s aim is to transform the lives of vulnerable street kids by providing housing, Christian counseling and discipleship, and resources to break the chains of poverty.
Last year the three boys formed a gospel band called Shining Hope and produced their first song, “You Are Precious,” singing about their transformed lives since they began to follow Jesus.The aspect of recording a song made them be so excited since its something never believed could ever happen in their lives.
A volunteer at HFLM brought Shining Hope’s song to a gospel radio station in Kigali. The radio host loved the song, partly due to the boys’ story. He invited the band to come in for an interview the following day.

Rosy Ohon who is termed as a mentor and a mother is married to one guy who is familiar to many called Don Ohon “Musa Faulu”.
Donald Ohon who is a GOD fearing man and husband has played a major role in both tv and radio commercials for the Faula Bank hence named Musa Faula.
Rosy Ohon has a family of public figures as after the husband theirs young Joy who is a tv actress on tv show Machachari that airs on Citizen Tv. Further more her other daughter has followed her dad’s footsteps as she plays a role in the Oreo advert.
Surely this family is blessed and GOD has been a great rock in their endeavors. On marking this special day Rosy Ohon says :
“I’ve stuck with this man, I’ve been faithful and true to him, by God’s grace for 13 years and still counting cause am not about to quit! Today i celebrate with my one and only husband, God’s faithfulness in our lives as we celebrate our 13th marriage anniversary, “am still hooked to you for a very long time….Donald Ohon, I love you always”

Marvin Sande/DJ Sadic, one of Kenya’s finest and talented disc jockeys has finally graduated from school. Apart from him being a gospel deejay , DJ Sadic has been studying behind the scenes, to the surprise of a multiple.
DJ Sadic on 9th February 2014 graduated from Bible School, showing that Marvin has put his life as a minister of GOD first before anything that he will come across in life. He received a basic certificate from his course on Sunday morning and he could not hold his joy by saying he was super excited.
This is really a great start to the journey that Sadic will be travelling with Christ and we continue to pray for him as he spreads the gospel to the world.

The mavuno church poster which was published on social media with aim of preaching sexual purity to the youth received a number of reactions and comments with many advocating for the church to continue with its intended plan of ministering to the youth , others seemed not to agree with the church’s perceived intention.

Mungu Anaweza is the new song with a literal meaning that “GOD Can” which shows how Kidum has total respect for GOD in as much as he doesn’t sing Christian music always.
Sensational singer Nimbona Jean-Pierre/Kidum whom is always booked on most weddings or at times his music playing at the reception of weddings you would feel that this guy was gifted by GOD.

Launching a new song in a big platform and in a presentable manner is one important thing to do as an artist.Personally i would love to give my thumbs up to one of Kenya’s most loved gospel group BMF who decided to launch their new single ‘Favor’ on a top radio show Mambo Mseto.
BMF as we had unveiled in another article earlier here released a song that will go along way to bless and encourage many who seem to have lost hope in life .The song by BMF will be featuring a fast-rising gospel artist Mansura who has shown so much potential in his singing for the period he has been in the gospel industry.
We thank God for Mzazi Willy M Tuva host of Mambo Mseto who gave them a platform a few days before they launch their video.
