1st Lady Margaret Kenyatta who is championing the beyond zero campaign has broken the record by becoming the first 1st lady to finish the London Marathon.
It all started weeks ago during the launch of the Beyond Zero Campaign where our 1st Lady promised that she would take this challenge for the sake of mothers and Children. Now looking forward to today we celebrate the 1st Lady for accomplishing this task.
For the long hours she took to train in the great rift surely she has earned the fruits of her efforts. First Lady Margaret Kenyatta ran the Virgin Money London Marathon in the company of her team members who include Ms. Constance Gakonyo, Chief of Staff in the First Lady’s Office, Ms. Florence Awori and Ms. Nyokabi Mutham.
At the finish line you would have expected her to be held by the first aid team but to our amazement the President of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta was there to support her together with his family.
